Teachers

Jenny Cumming commenced dance training at the age of five and has studied various dance styles including classical ballet (RAD), jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Jenny has taught dance for seven years, including two years working full time as a dance teacher in a Melbourne studio and as well as in primary and secondary schools. She is also a qualified Zumba instructor. Jenny is currently completing a Diploma of Business Management and is the Principal of Leaps and Bounds.

Katie-Rose Fraser moved from New Zealand in 2009 to study dance full time at Dance World Studios, then continued to study within the same campus in 2010, under APO Arts Academy, in Musical Theatre. She holds a Certificate in Dance (Performance), Certificate in Musical Theatre, Advanced 2 RAD certicificate, and TDI Solo Seal certificates in Tap and Jazz. Katie-Rose has taught dance for various dance schools within Auckland and Melbourne for the past five years. In 2012 Katie-Rose is teaching ballet, pointe, contemporary, tap and private lessons for Leaps and Bounds.

Laura Brown moved to Melbourne from New Zealand to pursue dance in 2005. She completed a 2 year course and graduated from Dance World Studios with a Diploma in Performing Arts & the 2006 Diligence Award. Laura has spent the past few years working for Princess Cruises, performing in "Motor City", "What A Swell Party", "Destination Anywhere", "Shake, Rattle & Roll", Do You Wanna Dance?" and "Cinematastic". Along with Princess Cruises she has also worked for the ABC birthday celebrations, Sony BMG, Hurricanes cheerleaders & the Bledisloe Cup. Laura is teaching jazz, contemporary and funk/hip hop for Leaps and Bounds in 2012.

Holly Trainor holds a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management and has recently completed two years of full-time dance training at Spectrum Dance in Melbourne. She has extensive teaching experience to a variety of age groups in the styles of ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and funk/hip hop. Holly has taught classes both at Leaps and Bounds and at various Melbourne dance schools. In 2012 Holly will be teaching Kinder Dance, ballet, jazz, funk, tap and private lessons for Leaps and Bounds.
