Jenny Cumming
commenced dance training at the age of five and has studied
various dance styles including classical ballet, contemporary,
jazz, funk and tap. Jenny has taught dance for five years,
including two years working full time as a dance teacher in
Melbourne studios and also secondary schools. Jenny is currently
completing a Diploma of Business Management and is the Principal
of Leaps and Bounds. |

Gemma Wuersching
commenced her dance
training at the age of 6 in Toowoomba. Upon graduating high
school, Gemma moved to Melbourne to train full time at Dance
World Studios where she obtained a Diploma in Dance Performance.
In 2008 she completed her Advanced 2 Royal Academy of Dance
ballet exam. Gemma has a wealth of teaching experience in
ballet, jazz and contemporary. Gemma's passion for being on
stage has led to credits such as Crown Casino Shows for 2
seasons, Foxtel's reality TV Series 'The Singing Office',
Riveria Yacht Launch, Entertainment Store and also acting jobs
such as soon to be aired mini series 'The Pacific'. Gemma is
teaching ballet, pointe, contemporary and tap at Leaps and
Bounds in 2010. |

Karlie Johnson
began dancing at the age of 5 at Carol's Academy of Dance in
Warragul. When she turned 18, Karlie moved to Melbourne and was
awarded a scholarship to study a three year full time course at
Dance Factory. Upon completing the course she gained a Diploma
of Arts (Dance & Performance) and a D.F.T.A qualification. After
being accepted into the Dance Factory agency, Karlie began her
professional career and has since appeared in 'The Singing Bee'
TV game show (series 1, 2 & 3), Tahitian Princess Cruise Ship
and many other television shows, stage shows and fashion
parades. Karlie is teaching jazz, tap, ballet and our popular
adult class in 2010. |

Holly Trainor
holds a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. She has
extensive teaching experience to a variety of age groups in the
styles of ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and funk. Holly has
taught classes both at Leaps and Bounds and at various Melbourne
dance schools. Holly is currently studying dance full-time at
Spectrum Dance in Melbourne. This year Holly will be teaching
eisteddfod routines for Leaps and Bounds. |

Laura Brown
moved to Melbourne
from New Zealand to pursue dance in 2005. She completed a 2
year course and graduated from Dance World Studios with a
Diploma in Performing Arts & the 2006 Diligence Award. Laura has
spent the past few years working for Princess Cruises,
performing in “Motor City”, “What A Swell Party”, “Destination
Anywhere”, “Shake, Rattle & Roll”, Do You Wanna Dance?” and “Cinematastic”.
Along with Princess Cruises she has also worked for the ABC
birthday celebrations, Sony BMG, Hurricanes cheerleaders & the
Bledisloe Cup. Laura is teaching jazz and funk/hip hop for Leaps
and Bounds in 2010. |

Natasha Centra
commenced dance training in Sale, studying ballet, jazz,
contemporary and hip hop. She also began teacher training.
Natasha then moved to Melbourne to pursue dance as a career and
completed intensive ballet training with Brian Nolan. Natasha is
now in her second year at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance.
Natasha will be teaching some of our eisteddfod students in
2010. |

Julia Dale
started dancing in
England at 3 years old under the RAD
syllabus. She went on to become a Junior Associate at the
Australian Ballet School and performed at the National Congress.
Julia was also a Cecchetti Scholar for 3 years. Studying full
time dance under Tony Bartuccio, Julia assisted him on several
projects. Some of Julia’s performance credits include – the
Australian Ballet, Queensland ballet, The Footy Show Review at
Rod Laver Arena, The Footy Show’s ‘House of Bulger’ weekly
sketch, and Crown Casino’s New Year’s Eve show. In 2010 Julia is
teaching jazz and tap for Leaps and Bounds.
